A New Reason for Revenge

Lend a Helping Wing
To save Blu and Jewel from the smugglers, the Angry Birds will need courage, selfless heroism, and one enormous slingshot. Slide your finger on the screen and let go to pull back and fling your avian friends. Tap the screen mid-flight to unleash each bird's special ability. Pinch to zoom in and out of the environments and drag your finger to view different parts of each stage and plan the trajectory of each bird.

Boom Goes the Dynamite
Like previous installments, Angry Birds Rio is a physics-based puzzle game. Use the birds and their powers to most efficiently break through piles of different destructible objects. Crates, boards, stone, glass, TNT, and other materials are no match for an accurate shot with the right bird. Chuck the Angry Birds at locked cages to break them open and set rare birds free. As you progress in the game, you'll also need to demolish the jungle hideouts of the smugglers' monkey minions. Learn the strengths and abilities of each bird, and the behavior of the materials you'll launch them against, to trigger chain reactions and achieve three stars in every level.

South America Blooms
From the dim and cluttered warehouse of the Smugglers' Den to a rainforest-ringed clearing backed by snow-capped mountains, layers of dynamic scenery provide a sense of depth and movement unlike any other Angry Birds game. Against these evocative backdrops, the game's feathery conflicts reveal deeper, more nuanced character behaviors: rare birds fly free from their crushed cages, fidgeting monkeys try to hold on to their crumbling hideouts, and much more.

The sound design perfectly captures Brazil's urban and rural landscapes. Rio de Janeiro's seedy side comes alive with clinking chains, creaking boards, cries of captured birds, and the murmur of cars rolling by the Smugglers' Den. In the jungle, monkeys chatter and screech while the calls of birds, frogs, and insects fill the air as you line up your shots. Tips:
FMX Riders was designed around Tilt to turn and Auto-acceleration controls from the start.
They are the default and recommended control settings. You can however activate touch to turn (and soon manual acceleration) in the settings menu, but we strongly recommend giving the default controls a try. In any case you can adjust the sensitivity of your turning in the control settings.

Tricks are hard to pull off!
You should only launch tricks on the bigger jumps to make sure you can land them without crashing. Flips and especially spins are much safer on the medium and small jumps.

The 3 Categories provide progressive difficulty.
In 125cc, jumps and tricks are easier to land, whereas in 450cc you will have to complete your spins/flips/tricks before landing if you don't want to crash.

A Fun, Family-Friendly Game
Mooniacs is a physics-based game that is easy to play but impossible to put down. You work the game by slinging the Mooniac into the JujuBees--the cute little bubble creatures that you can trade for parts. You aim the Mooniac's bubble, draw it back with your finger, and launch them into a line of JujuBees. This sounds easy enough right? But hold on--you only get one shot per level to collect all the JujuBees. So you have to aim those cute Mooniacs in such a way that you avoid moving platforms and crazy obstacles to collect each delightful orange dot to move onto the next level.


90 levels of fun
A Cast of Characters On an Alien-Slinging Quest
Follow the quest of Plink and Blube to gain enough JujuBees to move through each of the 90 levels. The amount of parts you collect will determine which of the three alternate endings you will see. You begin the game in Briars and Brambles. In this world you have crash landed into thick bushes. Behind these dense brambles is a clearing of sunny, curious plants and swarms of space tofu. The next world is the Fungi Forest. Strange fungi of all shapes and colors sprout from the colorful grass. The pathway winds uphill and soon you will have to contend with the giant blue mushrooms. The final world on your path is The Desert Island. In this land, the island rocks gently, floating high above the brambles of a desert. But just like in any desert, the wind howls and swarms of JujuBees battle the wind sheer. This desert takes all of your skills and a touch of luck to cross it. If you complete this level the payoff is great because your spaceship is awaiting you on the other side of the island.

To get you started The Mooniacs comes equipped with a great tutorial video that plays when the game starts, and if you need a reminder it is available through the Options menu. For easy navigation there are also arrow controls to help you through the menus. Inside the game itself there are two forms of help available to the player. Within each level a dotted line shows the trajectory of the last shot you need to collect the JujuBees. Mooniacs also offers unlimited do-overs, and will reward the persistent player with a special bonus when you try a single level more than 20 times. And if you get stuck on a level, Mooniacs offers helpful hints you can buy with JujuBees you have collected, with prices ranging from 500 to 5,000 JujuBees. There is also a store that allows the trading of collected JujuBees for spaceships parts. The store also allows in-app purchases of more JujuBees (which start at 500 for $0.99).

Join the Great Swarm
For even more options you can visit the Mooniacs website and add your scores or hints. The JujuBees you bring to the site are added to the site, called The Great Swarm. Each players' contributions can unlock rewards, including a bonus chapter of 10 extra levels. Every JujuBee collected and spent contributes to the counter for The Great Swarm. If you want to compete with other Mooniacs fanatics, visit the community via leaderboards and achievements sharable on Facebook.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 v1.07

Overview: EA is being sneaky these days it seems as last week we saw the quiet launch of their Android Flexion store along with one game being released for the Xperia Play called D.A.R.K. Well this week we find another game quietly released onto the EA Flexion Store in the form of Battlefield: Bad Company 2.



Based of the hit PC/Console game, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is pretty much what you would expect it to be, a 3D FPS (first-person shooter) game. There isn't a lot of high quality FPS games for Android just yet but Battlefield: Bad Company 2 looks to change that with some great FPS gameplay along with some pretty solid looking visuals. Unfortunately, for everyone who doesn't own an Xperia Play, we will have to wait until it to be done being an Xperia Play exclusive.
